bobsilvestri@bestofwny.com Warren Zanes, younger brother of Dan Zanes and ex Del Fuego member, has released his sophomore effort title People That I’m Wrong For. Zanes who has worked as an administrator for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland the last few years cobbled the disc together between juggling his work and family responsibilities. A master of indie pop rock, Zanes’ musical sensibilities lean towards Matthew Sweet, Tom Petty, Beck and Todd Rundgren to name a few. Zanes hit the mark on “Jr’s Bag Of Tricks”, “Things Nobody’s Named Yet” and the title cut “People That I’m Wrong For”. The rocker “Ella’s Army” and the dreamy “Somewhere On A Roadside” are notable as well.
