West Coast blues outfit The Insomniacs has released their second disc for Delta Groove records titled At Least I'm Not With You. The band is fronted by Vyasa Dodson whose smooth blues vocals and incredible guitar chops shine throughout the disc. Borrowing from the school of Jimmie Vaughan and Hollywood Fats, Dodson never over plays the song knowing when to add a lick or run during a song and not being show off-y with his skills. Outstanding cuts on the disc include "Lonesome", "Directly From My Heart To You", the title track "At Least I'm Not With You" and "Hoodoo Man Blues" featuring some mean harp blowing from guest Mitch Kashmar> For more on the Insomniacs go to www.theinsomniacsblues.com or www.deltagroovemusic.com
