On their third release titled In The Wake Of Determination St Louis based band Story Of The Year has moved from the hard core mode of their previous releases to a more melodic sound. Don’t get me wrong they still play LOUD alternative rock with big guitars and bass along with crashing drums but with tempered edges this time out for a more accessible sound. Mainstays of the Warped Tours the constant touring has made the band much more focused on their craft.
