Steve
Earle’s latest is as you have already guessed by the title a live CD recorded
live at Montreux in 2005. This is an acoustic set spanning Earle long career
as a singer songwriter. Early tracks such as “The Devil’s Right Hand” to
recent ones like “Rich Man’s War” show Earle has not lost his bite. Others
of note include “Ellis Unit One” and “Christmas Time In Washington”. In
the trivia department this one was produced by “Funky” Claude Nobs of “Smoke
on the Water” fame. For more on information about Live at Montreux 2005
