Nashville
recording artist Spady Brannan has released a new CD titled The Long Way
Around and Other Short Stories a selection of stellar roots rock songs.
Traveling the same road as contemporaries John Hiatt or Edwin McCain, Spady’s
laid back groove and road worn vocals are a welcome relief from the usual
over produced recycled stuff coming out of Nashville these days. Check
out “Let It Go”, “Makes You Weak” and “Smilin’ Eyes”. Helping Spady on
the disc include Buffalo Music Hall of Fame member Michael Spriggs who
adds acoustic guitar and bouzouki, Lee Roy Parnell, Becca Bramlet and Crystal
Taliefero among others. For more info on Spady go to www.spadybrannan.com
