Tales
of love’s regrets and dashed hopes are dealt with on the latest disc from
Sam Conjerti titled Secretly Famous. The nine tracks feature Conjerti on
guitar and vocals and have an acoustic pop feel akin to James Taylor or
Dan Fogelberg. “Sloan Girl” is a tale of lost love with haunting violin
added to this heartbreak tale. “Miranda” is a country lament also dealing
with heartbreak while “Words I Never Said” and “You Were Telling Me Lies”
mine the same territory. “Black and White” features a nice guitar solo
mid song and the instrumental CD closer “Wrong To Judge You” adds flute
to the mix for a change of pace. For information on Secretly Famous contact
