Singer songwriter Ryan Delmore has released his debut CD titled The Spirit, The Water and the Blood a blend of alternative country with a spiritual message in the lyrics. The album title is in fact a line from the Gospel of John. Shades of the Jayhawks and early Wilco are evident among the eleven tracks. Highlights here include "Provide for Me", "Falling Down", "The World Can't Take It Away" and "Sing Like Mary Sang". Marc Ford (Black Crowes) and his wife Kristen show up to add excellent guitars and harmony vocals respectively. The enhanced CD also features printable lyrics and chord charts for every song.
