Progressive Christen rockers Revelation Project have released a new self titled CD. The band consisting of Tom Bender/lead vocals, Dave Jonathon/bass, Russ Stock/drums, Graeme Swallow/lead guitar and keyboards and Chelsea Wagner/keyboards has a very direct approach and message to deliver. Spoken Bible verses seamlessly piece the fourteen songs together and Biblical references pepper the lyrics. The progressive rock sound best emulates 70’s bands such as Kansas, Styx and the ilk. Soaring guitar solos and orchestral synthesizers and keyboards off set the sometimes preachy ness of the lyrics. Check out “Liars”, “Decay”, “Children”, “Falling” and “Eternity” for maximum effect.
