Quite
the wordy title. Never the less, REM, either you love ‘em or you hate ’em
it seems. They did cement they reputation as the face of the burgeoning
college radio movement of the 80’s. On this two disc collection covering
the early formative years disc one features hits from the I.R.S. years
including “Radio Free Europe”, “Rockville” , “Finest Worksong”, “The One
I Love”, “Fall On Me’ and “it’s The End Of The World As We Know It”. Disc
two features some rare and unreleased stuff including a live version of
“We Walk”, an acoustic “Swan Swan H’ and the original Hib-Tone version
of “Radio Free Europe”. Extensive liner notes and booklet with insights
about each song from the band makes this a very nice piece for your collection
or as a great introduction for new comers. Check out more at www.remhq.com
