While he toils primarily as a blues artist, the multi instrumentalist Peter Karp is a rocker at heart. On his new release titled Shadows and Cracks he plays the blues and shows his Heartland roots as well. His Blind Pig label mate Poppy Chubby shows up to lend a hand and produce a couple of tracks for Karp and Garth Hudson from The Band lends some B3 organ to "The Lament".
