Local singer Melissa Kate has a new CD titled Blind Faith. Known for her work with Van Taylor she steps out on her own here for a mix of funky soul, blues and jazz. Check out the funky strut on the title cut with nice sax work from Flick Williams. “Midnight Blue”, “Stand Up Step Out” and “I Found Someone” stand out as well.
