wouldn't equate Jason Ricci and New Blood to be a blues band per se.
Yeah, they can ride a solid blues groove but on their newest release
Done with the Devil they have more in common with the blues rock giants
Steppenwolf, Foghat and Deep Purple than B.B. King or Buddy Guy. There
are still some keepers here and Ricci is a great harp player throughout
along with some hot guitar from Shawn Starski. Check out the Tom Waits
like "Broken Toy", the slow blues moan of "As Long As
I Have You", the meandering "Afro Blues" and "Keep
