The third CD from local band Hastings finds the group raiding the vaults for an overview of their repertoire. The CD includes live versions, demos and outtakes, creating a nice sampling of the band. Always a great band to see live, they’ve included versions of such favorites as “Southern Comfort” and “Break Me”. Also included is the always-pleasing “I Wanna Sleep With Madonna” for the first time on CD. The song is hilarious and is a highlight of their live shows. Mention also to “My Best To You” presented here in a demo version. This heartfelt song is a touching ode to family and loved ones.
