Full of Blues is the title of the latest release from blues guitarist Duke
Robillard. Robillard the founder of the venerable blues outfit Roomful
of Blues has also done a stint with the Fabulous Thunderbirds and a variety
of studio guest work. On this two CD set featuring twenty three tracks
Robillard tackles a mix of originals and covers. Self penned songs include
"Jump the Blues for You", "Look Out", "Six Inch Heels", "You're Killin'
Me Baby" and the eight minute plus minor key blues jam "Blues Nightmare".
He turns in a sweet version of the Bob Dylan track "Everything Is Broken",
T-Bone Walker's "Treat Me So Lowdown", does a slow blues burn on Buddy
Johnson's "You Won't Let Me Go" and brilliant take on Tom Wait's "Low Side
Of The Road". For more on Duke Robillard's World Full of Blues go to www.dukerobillard.com
