Frequent visitors to Buffalo the band has been chugging along now for over thirty five years and shows no signs of rust or slowing down. The band is not so much innovators but torch bearers of traditional blues and doesn't usually stray far from form. Nine of the eleven tracks here were written by founding member Donnie Walsh with the other two from vocalist Chuck Jackson. It also features another track The Blues Brothers had a hit with "(I Got Everything I Need) Almost" written by Walsh. Others of note include "Going Dancing", "I've Been A Fool", "Wednesday Night Blues", "Dew Drop Inn" and the instrumental "Soaring". Go to www.downchild.com for more info and how to purchase. |
