bobsilvestri@bestofwny.com The Charlie Daniels Band teams up with some great artists for their latest studio release titled Deuces. This rollicking good time disc features the CDB teaming up with Travis Tritt on "What I'd Say", Bonnie Bramlett for "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours", Gretchen Wilson on "Jackson", "Drinkin' My Baby Goodbye" with Montgomery Gentry and "Let It Be Me" with Brenda Lee. Some of the others appearing on the disc include Vince Gill, Dolly Parton, Brooks & Dunn and Darius Rucker from Hootie and the Blowfish. The best two collaborations come from Marty Stuart on "God Save Us All From Religion" and the amazing tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan, "Jammin' For Stevie", with SRV's band Double Trouble and Brad Paisley laying down some tasty guitar licks even Stevie would have admired.
