It’s really nice when a good disc comes in the mail kind of out of left field. Such is the case with Buffalo Nickel and their CD Noise and Conversation. Hailing from Madison, Mississippi this country-alternative outfit has a keen knack for mixing guitars and vocals into some catchy tunes. Some of the better ones here include “Out Of The Picture”, “Devil”, “Twangalang” and “Walkin’”. Fans of Jayhawks, Uncle Tupelo and The Bottle Rockets should check this one out.
